The Province of Prince Edward Island has declared a state of public health emergency to ensure it is taking all appropriate actions in ensuring the continued safety of Islanders, and mitigating the impacts of COVID-19.
As a result, the Pension Office has moved to ESSENTIAL services as described below.

Please call (902) 368-4200 if you are trying to access our essential services, which are limited to:1. Anyone applying to start a pension, or
2. Anyone who has an issue with an existing pension.
All other service are temporarily suspended.

The Civil Service Superannuation Fund (CSSF) provides pension benefits for all permanent employees of participating employers.
The Minister of Finance of the Government of Prince Edward Island is responsible for the administration of the CSSF and has delegated the day-to-day administrative duties to the Pensions and Benefits section of the Department of Finance.
